esports: Crypto.com, partners with Fnatic (GBR) for more than $15m over five years (2021-2025)

Crypto.com, a Hong Kong-based cryptocurrency and NFT platform with 10 million active accounts, has become Fnatic's "global cryptocurrency partner" for five years (2021-2025), announced the British esports organisation on 15/09/2021.

The value of the total agreement is over $15m (€12.7m). Crypto.com also becomes a shoulder sponsor of the teams belonging to Fnatic, who notably have a team playing in the LEC (LoL), which will participate in the 2021 Worlds in Iceland (from 05/10 to 05/11/2021).

"Fnatic will also offer fans numerous rewards and money-can't-buy experiences - including with existing Crypto.com partners - for Crypto.com users purchasing Fnatic goods," said the esports organisation. Crypto.com will also produce Fnatic-branded NFTs and work with the British organisation "on a variety of activations with teams, players and creators including collaborative storytelling with existing Crypto.com partners, engaging gaming content, branded in-game experiences and physical events."
