Havas Sports & Entertainment: Olivier Denis-Massé resigns as deputy CEO

Olivier Denis-Massé has resigned from his position as deputy CEO of Havas Sports & Entertainment, the agency told News Tank on 15/07/2014. He had held this position since February 2008.

Olivier Denis-Massé, 52, is joining the French golf federation, where he was appointed deputy director for marketing, media and communications. The name of his replacement has not yet been revealed by Havas Sports & Entertainment, as of 17/07/2014.

France will host the 2018 Ryder Cup, a biannual team golf competition, in which the United States faces off with Europe, in the Golf National in Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines (near Paris, France). The Ryder Cup, the third-most-covered event in the world (after the Olympic Games and the World Cup), was watched by a cumulative audience of 700m spectators for its last European edition, which was held in Newport (Wales) in 2010, according to the official website of the Ryder Cup.
