LaLiga Santander: Bitci.com, 2nd cryptocurrency platform to appear on Cadiz CF's shirts

Bitci.com, a brand of Turkish crypto-asset trader Bitci Technology, has become the main shirt sponsor of Cádiz CF (LaLiga Santander) for the 2021-22 season, announced the club on 12/09/2021.

Bitci.com, which is also a partner of the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF), succeeds Dafabet, a Philippines-based sports betting operator, as the main shirt sponsor of the Cadiz (ESP) club in 2020-21. As of 2021-22, Spanish sports clubs can no longer promote gambling operators (see below).

Cádiz CF therefore displays two crypto-asset companies on their shirts. JOBchain, another cryptocurrency platform, is the club's back shirt sponsor in 2021-22. Cádiz CF is also the second Spanish club to display a crypto-currency platform as a main shirt sponsor, after Valencia CF, whose partner Socios.com displays the club's fan token on the front of their shirts.

Bitci.com is a partner of four 2021-22 LaLiga Santander clubs (RCD Espanyol, RC Celta and Real Betis Balompié).

LaLiga Santander: Deportivo Alavés, Granada CF and Real Sociedad are the only clubs without a main shirt sponsor in 2021-22
