Liverpool FC: partnership with SC Johnson (cleaning products) based on health & sustainability

SC Johnson, an American manufacturer of household cleaning products, has become a global (second level) and "purpose-led partner" of Liverpool FC (Premier League) in order "to deliver a collective vision for a healthier world with local and global initiatives focused on three specific areas: sustainability, health and opportunity," announced the club on 16/09/2021.

As part of the multi-year agreement, SC Johnson will "utilise their access to the men's and women's teams to help fans understand what they can do to help create a more sustainable future, aligning closely with the club's own sustainability initiative, 'The Red Way', which launched in January 2021 (see below)," said the English club. The American company will also benefit from matchday visibility and branded content.

The partnership will be launched via two initiatives: the implementation of an upcycling programme within Anfield and the club's facilities to turn single-use plastics into SC Johnson consumer products, as well as the provision of hygiene devices (sanitiser and soap dispensers) at Liverpool FC's stadiums and…
