Ligue 1: Paris Saint-Germain launch their first mobile app game with Citroën

Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1) and French automaker Citroën launched a mobile app entitled "Citroën Golden Barre" (Citroën Golden Crossbar) on 18/07/2014. This, Paris SG's first game app, gives players an opportunity to qualify for the Citroën Golden Barre challenge, a contest to be organised during the half-times of each of the fixtures at the Parc des Princes, in which a Citroën car will be offered to participants who can hit a crossbar from a free kick at 44m.

The "Citroën Golden Barre" app, which is free on the iOS and Androïd systems and available in French and English, uses the same principles as its challenge and invites its users, in 12 different levels, to aim for the crossbar in famous tourist settings in Paris (Hôtel de Ville, the Eiffel Tower, the Sacré Coeur, Montmartre, the Alexandre III bridge), at the Ooredoo training centre, and at Paris SG's home stadium, Parc des Princes.
