Italy/Serie A: TIM (Telecom Italia) has around 500,000 subscribers to its football offer (press)

TIM, a brand of telecommunications operator Telecom Italia, has "around 500,000 subscribers to its football offer," according to the Italian daily La Repubblica on 23/09/2021.

TIM notably offers TIMvision (series and films), DAZN (Serie A TIM, LaLiga Santander, MotoGP, NFL, UFC...) and Infinity (Mediaset's streaming service which will co-broadcast 104 of the 121 Champions League matches, solely via streaming, over the 2021-2024 cycle) at €29.99 per month for the first 12 months (then €34.99).

"The group already had 400,000 subscribers to this offer as of July 2021 but subscription growth has been slowed by 'holidays, piracy and technical problems'," according to La Repubblica. Telecom Italia is aiming to have 1 million subscribers to this offer by the end of the 2021-22 season and 1.5 million by the end of the 2023-24 season, according to the Italian daily.
