ExclusiveOlympique Lyonnais: "We're releasing the most ambitious app in women's football" (H. Moyal)

"Some very basic applications exist for other NWSL franchises, but I think we are releasing the most ambitious app in the women's football space, on par with what exists for the top men's teams at the moment," said Harry Moyal, deputy general manager for strategy, media & data science football and business at Olympique Lyonnais (Ligue 1 Uber Eats), to News Tank Football on 22/09/2021.

Olympique Lyonnais will indeed launch a mobile app dedicated to OL Reign (NWSL), its US women's football franchise acquired in December 2019 (for €3.15m), in October 2021. This application will also offer OL Féminin (D1 Arkema) content.

"We will obviously have all the results of our teams with a certain number of statistics, a whole bunch of content (articles, photos, videos) that will be available in an information feed with a free part and another part accessible via a premium subscription.
