With a brand valuation of €1.118bn, Manchester City FC (Premier League) are ranked fourth in the "Football 50 2021" ranking published by the American company Brand Finance, a consultancy firm specialised in strategy and brand valuation, versus seventh place for Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1 Uber Eats) valued at €887m, as the two clubs prepare to face each other in Group A on Matchday 2 of the 2021-22 Champions League at a sold-out Parc des Princes (Paris, FRA), on Tuesday 28/09/2021 (kick-off at 21:00 CET).

Man City are also ahead of PSG in the Top 20 "World's Most Valuable Soccer Teams" (excluding real estate) as established by the American business magazine Forbes in April 2021. The English club was ranked 6^th ($4bn/€3.4bn), while their French opponents were ranked 9^th ($2.5bn/€2.1bn).
