Real Betis Balompié: partnership with Wakatake Group for the training of young Japanese players

Real Betis Balompié (LaLiga Santander) have entered into a collaboration agreement with Wakatake Group, a Japanese organisation specialised in the training of young players, and have launched "youth development program with players from the Asian country," announced the club on 29/09/2021. As part of this project, a first two-month training course was organised by the club in September 2021 in Seville (ESP) for four Japanese players, and a second programme will start between February and March 2022 for a period of three months.

"During these programs, the Japanese players will have the opportunity to learn through the training methodology implemented by Real Betis at grassroots level, combining individual training sessions conducted by Real Betis professionals, along with group sessions with different teams from the Real Betis youth teams and associated teams. An inclusive experience that goes beyond football, since the players will also have the chance to discover the city of Seville (ESP), learn the local language and the values of the club," added the club.
