Serie A TIM: Instagram, Facebook and Twitter accounts of the 20 clubs (October 2021)

The 20 clubs competing in the 2021-22 Serie A TIM season total more than 229 million fans on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter, according to data compiled by News Tank Football on 01/10/2020. The Serie A TIM is the third most followed European Top 5 league on these three social networks combined, behind the Premier League (598 million fans) and LaLiga Santander (558 million), with an average of over 11.5 million fans per club.

With more than 105 million fans across the three social networks, Juventus FC is the most popular Italian club ahead of AC Milan (43.8 million) and the 2020-21 Italian champions, FC Inter Milan (38.5 million).

AC Milan posted the best growth in absolute value in September 2021 with a total of 322,363 additional fans, including nearly 60% on Instagram alone (+191,788 followers).

In terms of percentage growth, promoted side US Salernitana 1919 posted the best growth among the Serie A TIM clubs across the three social networks: +16.6% on Instagram, +15.4% on Facebook and +6.7% on Twitter.
