Sportradar: Lukas Seiler appointed managing director of Swiss sports data company

Lukas Seiler (GER) was appointed managing director of the Swiss sports data company Sportradar on 14/07/2014. He will take over the position in August 2014.

Lukas Seiler, 40, has been the director of business development and operations of the Sportsman Media Group since 2006.

"Lukas Seiler will enable us to continue the development and expansion of Sportradar's activities in the world. He will help us develop new relevant contents," said Carsten Koerl (GER), CEO and founder of Sportradar.

• Sportradar developed the FDS (Fraud Detection System), a system that identifies the odds of tampering and checks the odds offered by national lotteries, websites and bookies.
  • This system is used by many sports organisations, including UEFA (Union of European Football Associations), to fight sports fraud.
• Sportradar broadcasts more than 500 sports events on its Live Channel, a white-label product distributed by Betradar, subsidiary of Sportradar, to sports betting establishments (bookmakers, casinos).
