Liga BBVA: CaixaBank, official bank of Valencia CF through 2016-17

The Catalan bank CaixaBank has become an official partner of Valencia CF (Liga BBVA) through 2016-17, the club announced, on 25/07/2014. The bank will replace Bankia, which was the club's partner in 2013-14.

CaixaBank will be displayed on the Mestalla stadium's (capacity 50,000) advertising boards and will install a "third bencht" close to the field, with access to be won by the club's supporters. This initiative had already been set in place for Villarreal, a club that is also sponsored by the bank. CaixaBank also sponsors FC Barcelona and Malaga.

Valencia are currently looking for a shirt sponsor for 2014-15. The Chinese manufacturer of solar panels, Jinko Solar, paid €3.5m to be the club's shirt sponsor in 2013-14.
