"Commercial revenues (media and sponsorship) for the European Cups (Champions League, Europa League and Europa Conference League) are around €3.6bn per season over the 2021-2024 cycle. Over the 2018-2021 period we were at around €3.2bn, so this represents an increase of 12.5%. Champions League revenue is about 85% of the overall amount. The percentage is about the same for the split between media rights and sponsorship with respective shares of about 85% and 15%," said Guy-Laurent Epstein, marketing director at UEFA, to News Tank Football on 11/10/2021.

"The European Top 5 represent about 60% of global media rights revenue. I can't give the amount per country, but in order we have the UK, which is stable compared to the previous cycle, France, up, Germany, up sharply, then Spain and Italy down slightly," explained the European body's marketing director.
