Nations League: France's victory to bring in €10.5m for the FFF

€2.25m in commitment bonuses + €2.25m for finishing first in their group (League A, Group 3) + €6m for winning the competition by beating Spain in the final in Milan (ITA) on 10/10/2021: the French national team will earn a total of €10.5m for the FFF for their performance in the 2020-21 Nations League (not including a small share from ticket sales).

Spain's place as finalists will bring them a total of €9m. Italy, who won the match for third-place with a 2-1 victory over Belgium in Turin on 10/10/2021, will receive €8m and Belgium €7m.

These are the same amounts as for the first edition of the new European competition, won by Portugal (1-0 final victory over the Netherlands in Porto) on 09/06/2019. The Nations League winners also take home a 7.5kg, 71cm tall silver trophy as well as 40 gold medals.

According to UEFA, for 2022 World Cup qualifying, "in order to free up space in October 2021, the four UEFA Nations League finalists (Belgium, Spain, France and Italy) were drawn into five-team groups for qualifying (rather than six-team groups)."
