SS Lazio: Binance (cryptocurrency), first main shirt sponsor since 30/06/2019 (€10m/year)

Binance, a Hong Kong-based cryptocurrency exchange platform, has become the main shirt sponsor partnership of SS Lazio (Serie A TIM) for two seasons (2021-2023) plus an optional additional (2023-24), announced the Roman club on 13/10/2021.

"The partnership between Binance and Lazio has a duration of two years with an option for a third one, for a total value, in the three-year period, between fixed and variable, of over €30m," said the club, which generated €18.15m in sponsorship revenue in 2020-21. The annual value of the deal is therefore set at €10m, the fifth most lucrative agreement in the Serie A TIM in 2021-22 in terms of main shirt sponsorship (tied with AC Milan and Emirates).

The Italian club is welcoming its first main shirt sponsor since the termination of its contract with sports betting operator Marathonbet on 01/07/2019 (main shirt and shorts sponsor), following the entry into force of the Dignity Decree-Law banning the advertising of gambling.
