Premier League: Burnley FC opens a shop on TikTok to sell official club merchandise

Burnley FC (Premier League) has entered into a merchandising agreement with TikTok (Douyin in Asia) to sell merchandise directly via a shop on its official account on the Chinese social media platform, announced the club on 13/10/2021.

"The fast-growing video platform of TikTok now offers Burnley fans the chance to buy merchandise in just a few taps. Simply go to @BurnleyOfficial and hit the shop option to select your product, enter your address, payment details, and wait for delivery," explained the club.

"Since we launched our ground-breaking partnership with TikTok to stream our women's games live (see below), we've seen enormous engagement with our content across the platform, and hundreds of thousands of people tuning in for matchday. We're excited to launch our TikTok shop today and take the next step in reaching new audiences and engagement with our fans across the platform even further. We're also thrilled to be the first team to be working with TikTok on integration of retail products into a matchday live stream, which we will be bringing to fans in the coming weeks," said…
