Ireland: Tony Fitzgerald elected federation president through 2018

Tony Fitzgerald (IRL) was elected president of the FAI (Football Association of Ireland) through 2018 at the annual general assembly in Dublin (IRL) on 26/07/2014. He is succeeding Paddy McCaul, who was in office since 2010.

Fitzgerald, 71, was vice-president of the federation since 2010. Donal Conway (IRL) will take over this role.
