Spain: Mediaset (free-TV) acquires rights to 5 Paris Saint-Germain Ligue 1 matches including OM-PSG

Mediaset España has acquired the broadcasting rights in Spain for five Paris Saint-Germain 2021-22 Ligue 1 Uber Eats matches "at its own discretion", from the Spanish agency Enjoy Television, announced the Spanish free-TV group on 15/10/2021.

The first of these five matches will be the Olympique de Marseille - Paris Saint-Germain game (Matchday 11), which will be broadcast on the free-TV channel Cuatro (second channel of the Mediaset España group) and the free-TV platform Mitele, on Sunday 24/10/2021 (kick-off at 20:45 CET). On the same day, the Clasico FC Barcelona - Real Madrid CF (Matchday 10 of the 2021-22 LaLiga Santander season), will be broadcast on the pay-TV channel Movistar LaLiga belonging to the Telefonica group (kick-off at 16:15 CET).

Mediaset España already broadcast Lionel Messi's first match in Ligue 1 on Telecinco (see below). The rights to broadcast the Ligue 1 Uber Eats over the 2021-2024 cycle were sold to the Spanish agency Enjoy Television, ahead of the Argentine's signing for Paris Saint-Germain (on 10/08/2021).
