FC Girondins de Bordeaux: collectable shirt and dedicated collection for club's 140^th anniversary

FC Girondins de Bordeaux (Ligue 1 Uber Eats) and its German equipment supplier adidas are marketing a collectable shirt, of which 1881 have been produced in reference to the year the club was founded, as well as a dedicated collection to celebrate its 140^th anniversary, announced the French club on 16/10/2021. The shirt was worn by Bordeaux players during the game versus FC Nantes (1-1, Matchday 10 of the Ligue 1 Uber Eats) on Sunday 17/10/2021.

"This Bordeaux red shirt is in the purest Gironde tradition. For the most loyal supporters, this shirt will inevitably remind them of the fantastic European epic of 1996 with Zinedine Zidane, Christophe Dugarry and others. This shirt is also decorated with a gold colour to recall the elegance and prestige of FCGB. A collector's logo (see below) featuring the club's traditional crest will also be present. The sponsors visible on the shirt have also agreed to change their colours to gold in order to harmonise the kit," said the Gironde club.
