Gazprom, a Russian energy supplier, has activated its partnership with UEFA and presented the Euro 2020 Goal of the Tournament in the form of an NFT to Czech striker Patrik Schick during a video conference organised on YouTube by UEFA on 15/10/2021.

The digital asset was designed by Russian artist Pokras Lampas, who transferred the rights to the NFT to the Bayer 04 Leverkusen (Bundesliga) goalscorer. This crypto-asset is associated on the blockchain of AntChain (tech start-up), the "official global blockchain partner" of Euro 2020 with UEFA. The identity of the trophy winner is thus encoded in this NFT trophy.

This is the first time that the data of the winner of the Goal of the Tournament will be "uploaded to blockchain for permanent storage," said the European body on 10/06/2021.
