RC Strasbourg Alsace: club awarded "Fair Play For Planet" label for its eco-responsible commitment

"After committing to Fair Play For Planet in May 2021, RC Strasbourg Alsace (Ligue 1 Uber Eats) has received the FPFP certified Player label, rewarding its eco-responsible commitment," annnounced the French club on 15/10/2021. Launched in November 2020 by former rugby international Julien Pierre, Fair Play For Planet is the first label aimed at recognising sports clubs and events with an environmental commitment.

"Fair Play For Planet was particularly sensitive to the management's strong commitment to the club's ecological transition, the development of a real strategy for the feminisation of spaces and the implementation of solidarity actions in favour of the most vulnerable people in its territory through the Femmes de Foot association (in charge of the club's CSR policy)," said RC Strasbourg Alsace, the second Ligue 1 club to receive this certification after Olympique Lyonnais.
