FC Barcelona have record €530m turnover and reduce debt by €44m in 2013-14

FC Barcelona (Liga BBVA) had a record turnover of €530m in 2013-14, an 8% increase compared to 2012-13 (€490m), said Javier Faus, the vice-president for finance of FC Barcelona, on 29/07/2014.

The Catalan club's profits were at €41m, its second-highest after 2011-12 (€49m). Javier Faus said that since the election of Sandro Rosell (president from June 2010 to 23/01/2014) and the new management team in 2011-12, the club had made a total profit of €113m.

The club's debt was reduced by €44m to €287, for a total €143m (33%) decrease since 2010-11 (€431m).
