Inter Milan: Dan Chard (UK) appointed director of global partnerships

Dan Chard (UK) has been appointed director of global partnerships of Inter Milan (Serie A), the club announced on 29/07/2014. He will be tasked with "making the club more efficient in developing and spreading the Inter brand both at home and abroad," the club said.

Since October 2012, Dan Chard was the director of partnerships sales for AEG (Anschutz Entertainment Group), an American company specialised in the production of sports and music events. Co-founder and CEO of the sports marketing company Be Sport Ltd from 2000 to 2007, he managed the sponsorship of Coca Cola (drink), Red Bull (energy drink), Heineken (beer), Sony Playstation (video game console), LG Electronics (electronics) and Adidas (sports equipment).

"His experience will greatly enhance our commercial team. We are sure that, with his help, Inter will become a highly recognisable brand around the world," said Michael Bolingbroke, CEO of FC Internazionale, on 29/07/2014.
