Chelsea FC to offer fans €12 train tickets for their Premier League away matches in 2014-15

Chelsea FC will offer £10 (approximately €12.4) train tickets for 14 of the team's 19 away games in Premier League in 2014-15, the club announced on 30/07/2014. The fixtures that will not be included in this offer are the away games played against other London-area clubs (Arsenal, Tottenham, Crystal Palace, West Ham and QPR).

This offer had already been in place for ten of the team's fixtures in the Premier League in the 2013-14 season. Aside from the trip subsidies, Chelsea will also offer £10 pricing on three of the Chelsea away games themselves in Premier League. This was previously done for Sunderland-Chelsea (3-4, on 04/12/2013) and Cardiff-Chelsea (1-2, on 11/05/2014).

"I am delighted that after consultation with the Fans' Forum we are able to reward that loyalty and commitment once more by removing some of the financial burden on our supporters and allowing them to create a special atmosphere for the players all around the country," said Ron Gourlay, Chelsea's chief executive.
