Spain: LaLiga match highlights broadcast on Twitch as part of a deal with Mediapro

"LaLiga is strengthening its digital strategy and, from Monday 25/10/2021, will broadcast the highlights of all the matches of each LaLiga Santander and LaLiga SmartBank matchday on Twitch, in a programme hosted by sports journalist Rubén Martín. The broadcast will be free to air in Spain and can be followed simultaneously on LaLiga's (over 30,000 followers as of 26/10/2021) and the journalist's (over 81,000 followers as of 26/10/2021) channels," announced the Spanish league on 25/10/2021.

"This initiative was made possible thanks to the collaboration with Mediapro, which is responsible for the exploitation of the highlights rights and the distribution to the main digital media in the country, and is a key player in this broadcasting agreement on Twitch, which forms part of its strategy to reach new audiences and explore new digital consumption formats," said LaLiga.
