The pay-TV British sports channel BT Sport extended its media partnership with Arsenal FC (Premier League, ENG) for two additional seasons on 28/07/2014. Arsenal and the sports channel of the British telecommunications group BT had signed their first partnership on 09/10/2013; the length and cost were not disclosed at the time.

Although the precise date that the contract will end has not been indicated, the partnership will likely end after the 2015-16 season, as a new media rights cycle will be introduced in 2016-17 (the current cycle is 2013-16). BT Sport is jointly broadcasting the Premier League in the United Kingdom and in Ireland with the pay-TV group Sky Sports in 2013-16.

The partnership with Arsenal enables BT Sport to continue to promote its football coverage through the club’s digital channels in the UK and Ireland. In addition, the agreement gives the broadcaster privileged access to Arsenal’s first-team players and staff in order to create unique and exclusive content for BT Sport's Premier League programmes.
