LaLiga Santander: Capital Energy to supply Atlético de Madrid with renewable energy for three years

Capital Energy, a Madrid-based renewable energy company, has activated its partnership with Club Atlético de Madrid (LaLiga Santander) and has become the Spanish club's renewable energy supplier for three seasons (2021-2024), announced Atlético de Madrid on 26/10/2021.

"The company will be in charge of providing renewable energy to our club for the next three seasons, managing the supply of the Wanda Metropolitano, the Wanda Sports City in Majadahonda (ESP), the Wanda Alcalá de Henares Sports Centre, the Atlético de Madrid Foundation and our official shops in the Community of Madrid," said the club.

"Thanks to the 9.5 gigawatt hours (GWh) of clean energy supplied annually by Capital Energy, the emission of approximately 3,800 tons of CO2 into the atmosphere will be avoided.
