Bundesliga: Ford (car manufacturer) extends as exclusive partner of 1. FC Köln until 2024-25

Ford-Werke GmbH, a subsidiary of the American car manufacturer Ford, has extended as exclusive partner (2^nd level) of 1. FC Köln (Bundesliga) for three years (2022-2025), announced the club on 28/10/2021. The agreement was negotiated by Infront, the club's marketing agency. Ford had previously extended as the club's exclusive partner and official car until 2021-22, on 01/10/2018.

"Ford-Werke has been FC Köln's exclusive partner since 1994, equipping the club's management and professional squad with new Ford models. In addition, the blue Ford oval, which was emblazoned on the club's shirts between 1994 and 1999, has been featured on the perimeter advertising and the scoreboard at the RheinEnergieStadion (Cologne, GER) for 27 years," said the club, which will celebrate 30 years of partnership with Ford in 2024.

"Currently, the carmaker is making a significant contribution to FC Köln becoming climate-neutral for the first time in 2021: by the end of the year, half of the club's vehicle fleet is to consist of electric and hybrid cars," added the German club.
