UEFA Women's Euro 2022: composition of the four groups following the draw on 28/10/2021

England - Norway in Group A, Germany - Spain in Group B, Russia - Switzerland in Group C and France - Italy in Group D, these are some of the key fixtures that will take place in the Women's Euro 2022 final tournament, following the draw hosted by UEFA in Manchester (ENG) on 28/10/2021. Reigning European champions Netherlands are in Group C.

Composition of the four groups:
⚽️ Group A: England, Austria, Norway and Northern Ireland.
⚽️ Group B: Germany, Denmark, Spain and Finland.
⚽️ Group C: Netherlands, Sweden, Russia and Switzerland.
⚽️ Group D: France, Italy, Belgium and Iceland.

The tournament, originally scheduled for 2021, had been postponed by one year due to the Covid-19 pandemic. It will take place in England from 06 to 31/07/2022.

England - Austria (group A), the opening match of the competition, will be played at Old Trafford (74,000 capacity) on Wednesday 06/07/2022.

The top two teams in each group will qualify for the knockout stage, which will begin with the quarter-finals.
