Bundesliga: FC Bayern Munich officially open office in New York to develop brand in USA

FC Bayern Munich (champions of Bundesliga in 2013-14) officially inaugurated their first office in New York (USA) on 31/07/2014. The club is on a pre-season summer tour in the United States (from 30/07 to 07/08/2014). The office has already been operational since 01/04/2014.

"We want to pick up on the enthusiasm generated by the World Cup [in Brazil, won by Germany, which had seven Bayern Munich players] and continue to strengthen the Bayern brand’s positioning in the USA. The new office in the heart of Manhattan represents an important initial step," said Rudolf Vidal, managing director of the American limited company Bayern Munich LLC, at the inauguration of the office on Lexington Avenue on 31/07/2014.

The mission of Rudolf Vidal and his team of three is to internationalise the club to North America, continue the growth of the FC Bayern München brand, and develop existing commercial networks and acquire new partnerships.
