Premier League: Nissan extends partnership with City Football Group and its affiliated clubs

The Japanese car manufacturer Nissan has extended its partnership with City Football Group and its affiliated clubs in the USA, Australia, Spain and the UK, including Manchester City FC (Premier League), from 2021-22, announced the English club on 04/11/2021. "This renewal will extend the partnership further to include Sichuan Jiuniu FC."

The car brand has the status of global partner, the first level in Manchester City's sponsorship hierarchy. Nissan, a partner of City Football Group for the 2014-2019 cycle after an agreement on 17/07/2014, had previously renewed its agreement with the club and its affiliated clubs from 2019-20 on 24/07/2019. The overall value of the contract was estimated at €5m per season. In addition to Manchester City and Sichuan Jiuniu, the clubs involved in this partnership are New York City FC (MLS), Melbourne City FC (Hyundai A-League) and Girona FC (LaLiga SmartBank).
