Ligue 2: Luzenac to be heard by DNCG's High Appeal Committee before 09/08/2014

The High Appeal Committee of the DNCG (National Directorate of Management Control) will meet within eight days, or before 09/08/2014, to reexamine LAP's (Luzenac Ariège Pyrénées) case and decide whether the club can participate in Ligue 2, the second French division, for 2014-15, the FFF (French Football Federation) told News Tank on 01/08/2014.

This hearing will be to fulfil an order from Toulouse's administrative court, which handed down a legally binding suspension, on 01/08/2014, of the DNCG's Appeal Committee's 03/07/2014 order, and asked that the FFF reexamine the club's case.

"The DNCG's Appeal Committee's assessment of the club's financial situation was insufficiently substantiated, and the club's argument on this issue is likely to bear, at this stage of proceedings, a serious doubt on the legality of this decision," said the urgent applications judge of Toulouse's administrative court on 01/08/2014.
