2021-22 Bundesliga: attendance for Matchday 11 (32,678 spectators on average per game)

Matchday 11 of the 2021-22 Bundesliga season drew an average of 32,678 spectators per match, from Friday 05 to Sunday 07/11/2021. The average fill rate was 70.6%.

These low figures, modest for the German championship, can be explained by the limited capacities imposed by the public authorities in all German regions since the start of the season due to the health crisis relating to the Covid-19 pandemic. The average attendance since Matchday 8, has however been rising sharply as a result of a sharp increase in the permitted capacities at German stadiums.

FC Bayern Munich - SC Freiburg (2-1), on Saturday 06/11/2021 (kick-off at 15:30 CET), is the game that has posted the best attendance since the start of the season with 75,000 spectators at the Allianz Arena (Munich, GER), for a 100% fill rate. This is the first time that Bayern has been allowed to fully fill its stadium since the outbreak of the pandemic in March 2020.
