Title sponsors: LFP to receive a total of €71.4m from Uber Eats and BKT (2020-2024)

The Ligue de Football Professionnel will receive a total of €71.4m over the 2020-2024 cycle from the title sponsors of the two French professional football divisions Uber Eats (for Ligue 1 Uber Eats) and BKT (for Ligue 2 BKT).

Uber Eats, which extended its commitment to the LFP for two additional seasons (2022-2024) on 10/11/2021, will continue to gradually increase its annual contributions. The American firm paid the French football league €14m in 2020-21, €16m in 2021-22 and is expected to pay €16m in 2022-23 and €17m in 2023-24. In total, Uber Eats will pay €63m over four seasons to the LFP (+€3m in 2019-20).

By comparison, Banco Santander pays LaLiga €17m per year for the naming rights to LaLiga Santander (+€3m for LaLiga SmartBank), while Telecom Italia spends €15m per season to advertise itself as the title sponsor of the Serie A TIM (via the Lega Serie A). By contrast, neither the Bundesliga nor the Premier League have a title sponsor.
