F1: Formula One Group highlights its hybrid technology via new logo on a green background

Formula One Group has unveiled a new graphic identity colour, changing from red to green, and accompanying the "F1" logo with the words "powered by hybrid since 2014," on 10/11/2021. This new graphic identity, which uses the same logo shape, will be deployed from the Brazilian Grand Prix held from 12 to 14/11/2021.

"Since 2014 Formula 1 has been hybrid and we have the most efficient engine on the planet achieving 52% thermal efficiency with other engines far behind - no light vehicle is achieving 40%. From Brazil onwards we will be displaying a new hybrid graphic at races to raise awareness of the incredible technology we have and the strong platform for the next solutions to emissions from the automotive sector," explained Formula One Group.

"While what we have already is incredible, we must go further. Our plan is for the next Formula 1 engine to be hybrid but powered with 100% second generation sustainable fuels. This fuel will be created to deliver the power and efficiencies we all want in our cars and Formula 1 is the perfect laboratory to deliver, test and refine the fuels…
