FFF/Stade de France: "End of the contract in 2024, I will never in my life renew it" (N. Le Graët)

"We (the FFF) have a contract (with the Stade de France) until 2024, but it is a contract that I will never in my life renew. Now, we will see after 2024 and the Olympic Games if the stadium undergoes changes, or if the state takes more care of it. But under the conditions in which we signed this contract because we needed a stadium for the 1998 World Cup, it' s enough. We have paid enough. We will only renew this contract under economic conditions that are acceptable to the FFF," declared Noël Le Graët, president of the French Football Federation, to the French daily Le Parisien, on 10/11/2021.
