2.Bundesliga: Paysafecard (online payments) becomes 2014-15 shirt sponsor of 1.FC Kaiserslautern

Paysafecard, an Austrian company providing online prepaid payment cards, will be the shirt sponsor of 1.FC Kaiserslautern (2.Bundesliga) for the 2014-15 season, the club announced on 04/08/2014.

The contract is worth an estimated €1.6m for the 2014-15 season. The partnership also includes visibility on LED advertising in the Fritz-Walter Stadion (capacity 49,700) and on the club's digital platforms.

Paysafecard will replace the pharmaceutical group Allgäuer Latschen Kiefer, shirt sponsor of 1.FCK from 2010-11 to 2013-14. Allgäuer paid €2.5m for the 2013-14 season. The group will remain an official club partner in 2014-15.

• Sportfive Germany is handling 1.FC Kaiserslautern's marketing operations through July 2020.
