Cagliari Calcio: CSR commitments for the 2021-2023 cycle in line with the UN's Agenda 2030

Cagliari Calcio (Serie A TIM) has presented its Sustainability Report for the 2020-21 season, a document that aimed at strengthening its "social commitment and sustainability path" and lay out development goals for the 2021-2023 cycle, announced the Italian club on 12/11/2021. The publication of this report follows the launch of "#BeAsOne", Cagliari's new CSR strategy, in June 2021 (see below).

Education and inclusiveness, tolerance and the fight against homophobia, energy efficiency, waste management, food and water resources, reduction of single-use plastics, partnership management and the operation of the new stadium are the main themes covered by the report, which will be the subject of reinforced initiatives during the 2021-2023 cycle. For each of them, the objectives set for the period and the corresponding KPIs correspond to one of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) established by the United Nations.
