Real Betis Balompié: fans encouraged to donate blood in exchange for a free match ticket

Real Betis Balompié (LaLiga Santander), through its Foundation, is rolling out "Dona en Verde" ("Donate in Green"), a campaign aimed at encouraging its supporters to donate blood to the Seville Blood Transfusion Centre (ESP), "which currently has low reserves," announced the club on 15/11/2021.

The club is committed to offering each donor a ticket for the club's match versus Ferencváros TC (OTP Bank Liga, Hungarian 1^st division), on Matchday 5 of the 2021-22 Europa League group stage, on Thursday 25/11/2021 (kick-off at 18:45 CET).

The initiative will run on 17, 18, 19 and 22/11/2021. Fans who take part in the blood donation will be given a code to redeem for a free match ticket via UEFA's online ticketing service. "The donor will also receive a code to buy two more tickets at half price in the same or similar area of the Estadio Benito Villamarín (60,721 capacity)," said the Andalusian club, which aims to reach a total of 800 donations as part of the initiative.
