On 29/07/2014, the video game producer Electronics Arts launched EA Access, a platform that provides access on the Xbox One console to the video games produced by Electronic Arts via internet for a monthly fee of €3.99 or an annual subscription of €24.99. This service was built in collaboration with the American computer group Microsoft, which produces the Xbox One console.

"The service is being rolled out in beta to a limited number of players today, but it will launch for everyone on Xbox One soon," said EA Sports on 29/07/2014.

The subscription to EA Access opens a space in the Xbox One console called "The Vault", which at the moment offers four games produced by Electronic Arts, including the sports simulations FIFA 14 (football) and Madden NFL 25 (American football). Players can download these games straight to their consoles and play them immediately afterwards. New games will be added soon.

Subscribers to EA Access will also benefit from a 10% reduction on downloaded Electronic Arts games for Xbox One and will be able to play certain games five days before their release dates…
