Liga BBVA: Dailymotion becomes FC Barcelona's exclusive video streaming platform

Dailymotion, the French online video streaming platform, has become FC Barcelona's (Liga BBVA) exclusive video platform, the club announced on 06/08/2014.

Barça's official page on Dailymotion will feature videos and exclusive contents for its fans. The club also expects to increase the number of live-streaming video feeds of its press conferences. The partnership goes beyond FC Barcelona football and includes the handball, futsal, basketball and roller hockey sections of the club.

"Working with Dailymotion will allow FC Barcelona to extend this popularity by improving its video strategy and improving its web content with livestreams, pay programmes, SVOD and many other features," said Marc Eychenne, vice-president of international content, on 05/08/2014.

Dailymotion already holds the broadcasting rights on computers and mobiles of the highlights of Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 games through 2016.
