Premier League: EA Sports acquires rights of English league through 2018-19

The video game producer EA Sports extended its partnership with the Premier League for its FIFA franchise, through the end of 2018-19, on 07/08/2014.

The company, headquartered in Vancouver (Canada), holds the exclusive rights to use the Premier League licence. All of the English league clubs will be modelled with the official logos, sponsors and kits of the season.

For the first time in the history of the FIFA franchise, the 20 Barclays Premier League stadiums will be available in FIFA 15. The video game producer only offered eights stadiums in FIFA 14. The Hawk-Eye goal-line technology will also make its first appearance in the game.

FIFA 15 has been available by pre-order for the consoles PS3, PS4 (Sony), Xbox 360, Xbox One (Microsoft) and on PCs since 10/06/2014. It will be released in North America on 23/09/2014 and in the United Kingdom three days later.
