England: Navin Singh appointed as The FA's new commercial director from "early 2022"

Navin Singh has been appointed as commercial director of The FA and will join the body "in early 2022," announced The Football Association, on 23/11/2021. Singh replaces Kathryn Swarbrick who had held the position of commercial and marketing director since October 2019 until taking up the role of general manager and senior vice-president of the German equipment manufacturer addias, for Northern Europe, in November 2021. 

Navin Singh joins The FA after five years at the United States Golf Association. "As chief commercial officer, he led the USGA's global commercial strategy for its assets including the major men's and women's US Open championships. He was also responsible for securing worldwide broadcast and digital media rights packages across 190 countries, content production, OTT and mobile product launches, an extensive corporate partner programme and all aspects of fan engagement across ticketing, corporate hospitality, merchandise and licensing," explained the body.
