Olympique Lyonnais: partnership with Rova Sports Academy (Kenya) for three seasons (2021-2024)

Olympique Lyonnais (Ligue 1 Uber Eats) has entered into a strategic partnership with Rova Sports Academy, a private multi-sport academy based in Nairobi (KEN) and "developed with the aim of finding the top Kenyan athletes of tomorrow," announced the club on 24/11/2021. The agreement covers three seasons (2021-2024).

"Based on the sharing and adaptation of the OL methodology to the Kenyan context, this technical cooperation will be developed through exchanges between the two entities, regular visits of OL technical staff to support Rova SA in building local expertise, and also in the development of a pool of local coaches for supervision of the project," explained the French club.

"After Lebanon, Senegal, Vietnam, China, Brazil, Morocco, the United States and Portugal, Olympique Lyonnais is happy to put it knowledge into place in what is now a ninth international territory, and to become the first Top 20 European club to formalize an elite technical cooperation with a local institution in Kenya," added OL.
