Pitches: LFP renews deal with French Association of Golf Course Maintenance & FFgolf for 2 years

The Ligue de Football Professionnel has renewed its agreement with the Association Française des Personnels d'Entretien des Terrains de Golf (AGREF, French Association of Golf Course Maintenance Personnel) and the Fédération Française de Golf (FFgolf) for two additional years, announced the LFP on 24/11/2021.

"In force since 2018 under the impetus of the LFP's Playing Surfaces Commission, this agreement allows professional football to benefit from an exchange of best practices with experts from the golfing world, as well as a sharing of knowledge on numerous topics related to turf: biodiversity, equipment, watering, etc. It also enables the LFP to join the epidemiological monitoring network, which provides information from the field on problems related to (lawn) diseases or actions taken. This information is compiled and sent back to all the turf referents belonging to the network with the aim of better anticipation and targeted and well thought-out actions," explained the League.
