LFP: Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 clubs mobilise to form a "wall" to combat violence against women

On 25/11/2021, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, the LFP and Ligue 1 Uber Eats and Ligue 2 BKT clubs, in association with "Solidarité Femmes", joined forces to launch "#UnMurPourElles, a wall against violence against women," announced the Ligue de Football Professionnel the same day.

"The aim of #UnMurPourElles is to unite the entire football ecosystem to build a wall against violence towards women, through a digital activation that will mobilise the largest possible number of people. The Ligue 1 Uber Eats and Ligue 2 BKT clubs and all of the LFP's partner associations were invited to simply take a photo of themselves building a wall, a well-known footballing technique, and then post the photo on Instagram with the tags Ligue 1 Uber Eats, Ligue 2 BKT, and #UnMurPourElles," explained the French League.

"The LFP then took all these stories to collectively form an infinite wall against violence against women. We are all united in building this wall against violence and showing women who are victims of violence that they are not alone," added the body…
