Paris Saint-Germain's provisional budget for 2014-15 is at €490m, making it larger than those of AS Monaco (€130m), Olympique Lyonnais (€115m), Olympique de Marseille (105 M €), LOSC Lille (€65m) and Bordeaux (€55m) combined.

Paris SG have increased their budget by 22% compared to the 2013-14 season (€400m). With €22m, SC Bastia have the smallest provisional budget for the 2014-15 season.

The cumulative provisional budget for the 20 clubs in Ligue 1 is €1.435bn for 2014-15, an increase of 10% compared to the 2013-14 season (€1.3bn). The average provisional budget is €72m, however, only four clubs (Paris SG, Monaco, Lyon and Marseille) exceed this average. The median 2014-15 provisional budget is €40m.

  • If we exclude Paris SG and SC Bastia, which have, respectively, the largest and smallest provisional budgets, the average provisional budget for a Ligue 1 club is €51m in 2014-15.
