Paris Saint-Germain: solidarity canteen at the Parc des Princes for 200 students in need of food

The Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1 Uber Eats), through its Endowment Fund, organised a "solidarity canteen" at the Parc des Princes (Paris, FRA) to help students in need of food on 27/11/2021. As part of this initiative, 240 hot meals were distributed to 200 students and volunteers, and all of them were also able to participate in sports activities.

"The meals were prepared with organic, local and seasonal products," said the Parisian club. The operation was organised in collaboration with the charities Studhelp, which fights against food poverty among students, and La Communauté Écotable, which promotes sustainable food. Several French clubs have also set up similar initiatives in 2021 (see below).

"The afternoon was marked by fun and sports activities, supervised by Fondation Paris Saint-Germain staff in the stadium's corridors - including a tour of the stadium. The day ended with the distribution of food and hygiene products donated by Nivea Men (cosmetics)," added PSG.
