Puma: Lars Sorensen (DKN) replaces Andy Koehler as COO

Lars Sorensen (DKN) was appointed Chief Operating Officer of Puma, announced the German sports brand on 01/08/2014. He is replacing Andy Koehler, who had the role since 01/06/2013 and left the company for personal reasons.

Lars Sorensen joined Puma in November 2013 as global director business processes and intelligence. As COO, he will be responsible for all the operations as well as supply chain management, logistics and IT of the German sports brand.

Puma wants to relocate the coordination of its worldwide and European retail activites, as well as its European e-commerce activities, to Herzogenaurach (Germany) ; they are currently based in Oensingen (Switzerland).

German sporting goods supplier Puma announced a 6.5% decrease in its turnover to €1.378bn in the first half of 2014, on 29/07/2014. Puma's turnover in the first half of 2013 was €1.474bn.
