England/women's rugby union: one league game per round on BBC platforms

The British public TV group BBC has acquired the rights to broadcast one game per round of the "Allianz Premier 15s", the women's rugby league, for the remainder of the 2021-22 season, announced the Rugby Football Union (RFU) on 27/11/2021.

"These games will be shown on the BBC Sport app, website and iPlayer, including the semi-final and final," said the RFU, which will continue to offer "two live streams per round for the rest of the (2021-22) season on Premier15s.com, simulcasting the game that is on the BBC."

BT Sport will broadcast the Harlequins - Wasps match, played at Twickenham Stadium, on 27/12/2021. The pay-TV channel previously broadcast the 2020-21 Allianz Premier 15s semi-finals and final.

The 2021-22 championship, which features ten clubs (Saracens Women defending champions), began on 04/09/2021 and runs for 18 rounds before the semi-finals and a final scheduled on 29/05/2022.
